Earn College Credit

Coaches who successfully complete the ASAA certification may apply their course work toward 500-level professional development credit.

• Within six months of completing the NFHS, ASAA, and ARC exams, contact UAA Department of HPER and register and pay for the PEP A520 Principles of Coaching: Phone (907) 786-4083 or email ayhper@uaa.alaska.edu.
• Complete the additional assignments listed in the course syllabus and submit them in Microsoft Word to the Department of HPER.
• Along with the written assignments, turn in two (2) certifications of completion (copies) to the Department of HPER at UAA: NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course (includes the ASAA component) and the American Red Cross Sports Safety Course.
