How long does the certification last?

According to the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) the Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid certificates have no expiration date. However, the Sport First Aid portion of the clinic will satisfy ASAAs first aid requirement for 3 years from the date of completion.

After that, a coach must have a current first aid card before the beginning of the next season.

Some districts may have additional first aid and/or CPR requirements.
