The Culinary Arts, Hospitality & Restaurant Management, Dietetics & Nutrition division offers two culinary degrees, a minor in Nutrition, a Dietetic Internship and Certified Professional Authority (CPA) training through the Alaska Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). The Culinary degrees offered are: an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Culinary Arts, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality & Restaurant Management. The Culinary Arts and Hospitality program provides students the opportunity to acquire the culinary skills, management skills and hospitality finesse needed to develop a career in the expanding hospitality and foodservice industry. An array of career possibilities is available to graduates in the areas of culinary production and professional management in restaurants, clubs, bakeries, hotels, hospitals, camps, catering facilities, institutions and other related operations.
