ASE
National Institute for Automtoive Service Excellence; ASE has years of experience helping the automotive industry verify the skills and knowledge of the technicians working at dealerships, independent repair shops, collision shops, franchises, fleets, and more. Car owners and the service and repair industry regard ASE certification as the standard measure of competency and a guide to quality auto repairs. http://www.ase.com

Ford ASSET
The Ford ASSET (Automotive Student Service Educational Training) program is an alliance among Ford Motor Company, Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers and local participating community colleges. The ASSET program allows technical and vocational students to get on-the-job training at a sponsoring Ford or Lincoln Mercury dealership while earning an Associates Degree in Automotive Technology at a local, participating community college. http://www.fordasset.com
GM ASEP
Responding to the need for qualified service technicians, the General Motors (GM) Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) allows GM dealerships and TSS ISCs to participate in programs that bring students together with their dealerships and service centers. GM ASEP incorporates advanced automotive technical training with a strong academic foundation of math, reading, and electronics, in both analytical and technical skills. Students earn an Associate Degree while working and learning on the job, resulting in a solid education combined with invaluable work experience. http://www.gmasepbsep.com
NATEF
National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation; NATEF was founded in 1983 as an independent, non-profit organization with a single mission: To evaluate technician training programs against standards developed by the automotive industry and recommend qualifying programs for certification (accreditation) by ASE, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
Occupational Endorsements
Occupational Endorsements are certificates requiring 29 or fewer credits to complete. These certificates provide the specialized knowledge and skills needed in specific employment sectors.

Class Schedules include the course offerings for a particular semester, as well as all the necessary information to register and pay for classes.
UAOnline
UAOnline is the name of the secured server which the University of Alaska Anchorage uses to allow students access to their online registration activity and student records. Access to the information available through UAOnline is governed by FERPA policies. Registration information available on UAOnline includes up to date course offering information and information on course availability. Student record information available through UAOnline includes unofficial transcripts, the status of pending official transcript requests, and the ability to update student mailing addresses and phone numbers.
WUE
Western Undergraduate Exchange; UAA participates in the WUE program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) and other western states. Through WUE, certain students who are not Alaska residents may enroll in designated UAA programs. They pay resident tuition plus 50 percent of that amount (plus other fees that are paid by all students). WUE students do not pay the higher non-resident student tuition.
