The Spring 2010 tuition waiver application process has opened to students. The deadline for application is November 20, 2009 by 5 p.m.
A tuition waiver is a financial aid award made to a qualified undergraduate or graduate student by the Community & Technical College Dean on behalf of the College.
The award is based on various factors, among them: Alaska residency; demonstrated financial need or hardship; academic achievement; demonstrated commitment to degree completion; and strength of faculty and community support.
A faculty committee evaluates each application and recommends tuition waiver awards to the Dean, who makes the final award decision.
Interested students should review the
guidelines and complete the application process before returning the
application to the Community & Technical College's dean's office by November 20, 2009 no later than 5 p.m.
