No, CIOS doesn't mean "Cookies in Outer Space."

The Computer Information & Office Systems (CIOS) program will provide you with a comprehensive educational experience that develops skills and prepares you for today’s office environment.  The program provides services if you are just entering the field or if you need to develop more advanced technology and office skills.  CIOS offers a wide range of educational opportunities in the following programs:

• occupational endorsement certificates (less than 30 credits)
• • This certificate provides intensive training in a specific occupational area which indicates competence in technical and professional skills.  CIOS offers occupational endorsements certificates in the following areas:
  • • Office Foundations
    • Office Support
    • Medical Office Support
    • Office Digital Media
    • Technology Support
• associate of applied science (AAS) degree (minimum of 60 credits)
• • This degree finalizes the technical and professional training that will lead to entry-level positions in a wide variety of industries.
