Intent of the Proposed Change
R09.02.020 – F
Hazing is defined as acts considered by a reasonable person to cause physical or psychological harm or social ostracism to any person within the University community, when related to the admission, pledging, recruiting, joining or any other group-affiliation activity. It is not a defense that the person, group, or organization against whom the physical abuse was directed consented to, or acquiesced to, the physical abuse.
