Dear UAA Community,

I invite you to participate in Development Day 2012. Development Day offers a great opportunity to take a break from the usual routine, recharge, connect with others in the UAA community and focus on personal and professional growth.

UAA is in a period of dynamic change. This year’s keynote speaker, Jim Clemmer, will address the opportunities and challenges change presents. Jim will focus on growing through change and how to lead yourself and others through the constant change we all experience.

Sign up for workshops on how to run your own business or how to be a news anchor.  See the stars at the planetarium or learn about the Microsoft One Note.  There are many workshops and activities all day long. Volunteers are also welcome on this all-volunteer run day.

I encourage all employees –  and supervisors to encourage their staff when possible – to attend UAA Development Day 2012. Take time to have fun, learn new things and connect with “Team UAA.”
