How to Enable Javascript

To take this online course you will need to have javascript enabled. Javascript is a programming script that runs a number of the course tools. Follow the directions below to enable javascript.

For Netscape Navigator

1. In Netscape Navigator, click on the "Edit" tab in the menu at the top of the screen.
2. Choose "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on the "Advanced" option.
4. Click in the checkbox to the left of "Enable Javascript" so that a check appears.
5. Click the "OK" at the bottom of the window.
6. Click on the "Retest Me" button at the bottom of this page.
7. When you retest, you should see a "Javascript Enabled" message.
8. Proceed with the rest of the tests.

For Internet Explorer

1. In the Internet Explorer, click on "Tools" in the top menu.
2. Choose "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on the "Security" tab.
4. Select "Internet" so that it is highlighted.
5. Click on "Custom Level."
6. Scroll down the menu until you find "Scripting."
7. Click on the radio button under "Active Scripting" so that "Enable" is selected.
8. Click the "OK" at the bottom of the window.
9. Click "OK" again.
10. Click on the "Retest Me" button at the bottom of this page.
11. When you retest, you should see a "Javascript Enabled" message.
12. Proceed with the rest of the tests.
