Educational Media Services - eMedia provides UAA students and faculty with comprehensive support in instructional technologies. eMedia's goal is to increase student success in both face-to-face and distance education courses.

This mission is accomplished by:

• providing a gateway of services and resources to distance education students through its Distance Education Services (DES);
• assisting and supporting faculty in the development of digital learning objects and distance education methodologies through the New Media Center (NMC); and
• stimulating interest in and facilitating the use of instructional technologies in teaching and learning.

Our role at UAA is to serve as a clearinghouse of instructional technology for students and faculty.
