What is Required of a UAA Bonner Leader
- 600 hours over the course of 2 years. Most students choose to work about 100 hours each semester and the final 100 in the summer months but there is flexibility within the program to set up and individualized plan for each student.
- Weekly meetings for Reflection and Workshop Activities
- Two Day Orientation at start of semester
- Service Plunge participation
- First Year Service Trip/Retreat
- 2nd year Summer Internship and End of Program “Presentation of Learning”
How to Apply
- Complete the Bonner Leaders Application.
- You must complete and return all UAA and Federal financial aid applications to the UAA Financial Aid Department to ensure eligibility for all possible funding opportunities
- Turn in application to ankm2@uaa.alaska.edu or drop of at the Administration & Humanities Bldg, Room 148
- The Bonner Leader Advisory Board will review all applications and get back to students as soon as possible.
