Tracey Burke is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work. She
received her Ph.D. in Social Welfare from the University of Washington,
an MSW from the University of Minnesota, and a B.A. in Philosophy from
Villanova University. Dr. Burke teaches courses in social work practice
and cultural diversity and is engaged with the Food Bank of Alaska in an
ongoing service-learning partnership with hunger as its core theme. Dr.
Burke was the recipient of the Selkregg Community Engagement &
Service Learning Award in 2011 for a qualitative research project on
poverty and hunger in Anchorage. |
