Service-Learning Advocates can assist you in:
- Community-based projects
- Community partnership development
- Enhancement of current courses that you have always wanted to incorporate a service learning component
- Additional community-based projects that you just have not had the time or support to do in the past
- Be an example of excellence for other students in your classroom to get more involved and active with their major
How to apply
- Identify a student and invite them to assist you in any of the above for a semester-long project
- Review application with student
- Provide letter of support for the student
- The Application deadline is September 1st, 2009 at engage@uaa.alaska.edu
