Biography
Ph.D. Columbia University, specializes in Shakespeare, Milton, Renaissance and 17 th century literature, Joyce modernism, 20th century literature, and reader-response criticism. Publications include Reading Paradise Lost (Indiana University Press, 1980) and articles in Shakespeare Quarterly (Winter 1990) and Connotations (Winter 1992). In 2005, Crosman finished his second book, The World's a Stage: Shakespeare and the Dramatic View of Life (Academic Press).
