The Recital Hall is a 200 seat venue that is available for concerts, lectures and other events.  It is located in the Fine Arts Building (3640 Alumni Drive) on the East side of the University of Alaska Anchorage campus.

Recital Hall Calendar

The calendar shows the total time reserved for an event including setup and cleanup.  If you are a patron looking for the start time of an event, please contact the event promoter.


 
 

Recital Hall Rental Rates

Standard Rates*

Performance      $440

Hourly Rate        $110

Rehearsal          $165

Technician          $35 per hour, per person (4 hour minimum)

Custodial            $70

*Reduced rates are available for UAA departments and non-profit groups.

Insurance

All events are required to be covered by insurance.  The University of Alaska self-insurance covers official UAA events.  Official Anchorage School District events are covered by ASD insurance.  Most non-profit and for-profit organizations have insurance that may cover an off-site event.  Your carrier can fax a copy of your insurance rider to (907) 786-1799 attn: Cedar Cussins to complete this requirement. 


If you do not have a carrier and need to purchase insurance for your event, the University of Alaska Statewide offers event insurance for events at a University location.  Call (907) 450-8157, or follow the link below, for details.

Location

The Recital Hall (ARTS 150) is located in the Fine Arts Building (3640 Alumni Drive) on the East side of the University of Alaska Anchorage campus.


 
 

Parking

Parking is available in the East Garage (located on the NW side of the building) and the Fine Arts parking lot (located on the NE side of the building).

Parking is enforced by UAA Parking Services throughout the academic year. For more information on parking enforcement hours, or to request special event parking please visit their website.

Visitors can use "Pay and Park" meters to purchase temporary parking permits.
