What is APT Council?
APT Council is a 15-member group of administrative, professional, and technical (APT) employees that have been elected by their peers. The Council is a UAA campus component of the Board of Regents' mandated statewide governance provision. 

What is the Purpose of APT Council?
The purpose of APT Council is to provide a forum for APT staff on matters such as salary, working conditions, and general university policies and procedures. The Council works to provide a direct communication link between the APT employees and senior administration, faculty, and classified staff. It also provides APT representation and feedback to various UAA task forces, committees, and other governance groups. Additionally, APT interacts with the university in the areas of general business and operation. 

When does the Council Meet?
APT Council meets at least six times per year, with additional business being conducted electronically. These meetings are currently held on the first Thursday of each month from 10:30am to 12:00pm. 

All APT staff are welcome and encouraged to attend!
