Pages 3 & 4 are required, pages 5 & 6 are optional
Mailing Your Thesis: (a suggestion, not a requirement)
If your thesis is fairly heavy (over 60 - 75 pages), the United States Postal Service (USPS) has Flat Rate boxes that are 11 X 8.5 X 5.5 inches and should fit most theses. Pick up free Flat Rate boxes at the Post Office or order on-line at http://www.usps.com/. If the thesis is not already in a box from the copy center, such as Kinkos, wrap each of the final two copies securely with Saran Wrap or other plastic wrap so they remain in pristine condition and cannot shift or fold during shipping. Stuff old newspaper, Styrofoam peanuts, or pad with bubble wrap to close any extra gaps in the box if 5.5 inches is too high. Flat rate for shipping the box is determined not by weight, but by box size. Pay the flat rate of $10.35 and send it Priority Mail from anywhere in the United States to Alaska. Breathe a sigh of relief that your thesis will arrive in good condition and be ready for processing for the library.
