Bike Share FAQ

1. When can I rent a bike?
When the trails are safe! The bike share doesn't have studded tires right now, so rentals are limited to spring, summer, and fall. You can check for updates on rental availability on the Green Fee Facebook page, linked above.

2. Where can I take the bike?
Anywhere you like. The bikes are a single-speed design for commuting, and you'll be held responsible for any damages to the bike when it's returned, so we don't recommend riding off university/municipal trails.

3. How long can I keep the bike?
For one month. At the end of the rental term, you must return the bike for inspection. This is more for your sake than ours - if the bike is unsafe to ride, bike share staff should know sooner rather than later.

4. What is the Green and Gold Bike Share?
The bike share is a student-run program funded by the USUAA Green Fee.
