I am a graduate student in psychology at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I am conducting a replication of an Alaska Psychological Association (AK-PA) study that was preformed in 1988 (twenty years ago) on the demographic characteristics of psychologists, psychological associates and professional counselors in the state of Alaska.
Alaska is unique and different from the lower 48 in many ways. Is the field of counseling and psychology different here as well?  Are Alaskan behavioral health practitioners as a group nearing retirement age? Have you ever been curious as to whether men and women with the same licenses and degrees earn the same amount? Have you ever found yourself wondering if your caseload or workload is more than or less than your peers? Have you ever been curious to know how incomes have changed in the past 20 years for the license you hold? I am conducting an exciting study that will seek to answer these questions and more. Help me answer these and many other questions regarding the makeup of the Alaskan Practitioner by taking a few moments and completing the survey portion of this study.

Below is a link to the web site where the survey is located. Thank you for considering participation in this survey.
