Louise Lazur (BA, English, Clark University; MBA, Management, Babson College) is the Administrative coordinator for the Forty-Ninth State Fellows Program. She came to Alaska in 1986 and was named Vice President of Administration for the Anchorage Convention & Visitors Bureau until 2002, after which she worked part time here at the University, then joined an architectural firm, kpb architects, and subsequently joined Venture Development Group, a commercial real estate development company. Louise has earned her PHR (Professional in Human Resources), and is certified by the American Society of Association Executives as a CAE. Louise volunteers in Ushering in the Arts, is the vice-chair for the Anchorage Community Development Authority, and is a member of the Downtown Rotary. She has been past chair of KSKA/KAKM Board and is one of the founders of the Anchorage Downtown Partnership. |
