Advance Sign-up Details
Advanced sign-up is required for all outdoor trips.  Advance sign-up  is available at the orientation session on the FIRST Monday of every month.  Trip/activity  fee is due at  time of sign-up and can be paid with cash or check  at the orientation.  Trips with remaining open spots will be filled throughout the month at the Recreation & Activities Office, by e-mail, or phone.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations one week prior to trip date will receive full refund.  Cancellations sooner than one week to departure will receive no refund.

Technical Equipment
Many of the outdoor trips require the use of specialized equipment.  When you come to the office and pay your trip fee you will be given a voucher for gear rental at the Student Union. Instructions will be provided on obtaining the proper equipment from the UAA Student Union Gear Rental.

Indoor Activities
Indoor activities do not require sign-up.  To participate in indoor activities you just need to show up (bring a friend) at the event location at the activity start time or at the commons for the shuttle.  Please show up with cash or check for the activity fee stated in the activity listing.

Previous experience is not required for any of our introduction trips.  To attend the intermediate trips you must previous experience or have attended one of the introduction courses.

Mandatory attendance at an orientation session is required to participate in any trip!

Due to the extent of certain our trips we require mandatory attendance at an orientation session.    Due to safety issues if you do not attend a session you will not be able to attend any trips.
