Email & Contacts

Everyone at UAA gets an email account where you will receive official communications from the University. Everyone can choose email nicknames (up to 3). Students can forward their UAA email to a personal email address. Employees have access to advanced scheduling and contact management via Microsoft Exchange.

Students

Instructors and administrators will use your UAA email to send you official information about your courses and registration. You need to read your UAA email frequently. The easiest way is to forward your UAA email to your personal account.

• Me.uaa - manage your passwords
• Google Webmail - read your email online
• Email Software - configure your email client like Outlook, Thunderbird or Mac Mail

Employees

Employees will receive official memorandums and benefits information at their UAA email. Employees are required to read their UAA email on UAA systems. For legal reasons, employees will not forward their email to personal accounts. Exchange offers employees advanced personal information management (PIM) like shared calendars, advanced contacts, and voicemail in email.
