Surviving the Holocaust
Gerda Weissmann Klein, a noted survivor of the Nazi slave labor camps, is coming to speak at UAA. Her autobiographical account of her family’s tragic experience in the Holocaust, All But My Life, has gone through 60 editions. The 1995 HBO documentary based on her experiences, “One Survivor Remembers,” won the Academy Award. She married one of the GIs who helped to liberate her concentration camp in 1945. Her story is one of both the brutality and the triumph of the human spirit.

Mrs. Klein will speak of her experiences at UAA, Rasmuson Hall 101 on Monday night, March 31st at 7:00 p.m. The event is free, and open to the UAA community and the public. Please join us.
