Welcome to UAA and International Student Services

The Office of International Student Services (ISS) provides immigration services and support for international students and scholars at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

ISS aims to help international students and scholars to achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals, and to have a rewarding UAA experience.

The Office of International Student Services is located at the University Center at the UAA One Stop Services Center.

The UAA One Stop is open for walk-ins Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

While walk-ins are welcome, students are encouraged to set an appointment to ensure the availability of the ISS Staff.

Remember to check back regularly for office hour updates and special event announcements.

    • For more information about WES and their services, please visit their website at www.wes.org
    • Transcripts from the United States and from English Speaking Canadian schools do not need to provide WES evaluations. These transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution to UAA.
