Biography

Elizabeth Arnold has been a working journalist for more than two decades, primarily as the National Political Correspondent for National Public Radio and PBS in Washington DC covering Congress, the White House and four presidential campaigns. She continues to report nationally for NPR and overseas for National Geographic, Public Radio International, and the BBC. Most notably, she’s been awarded  the Alfred I. Dupont-Columbia University Silver Baton for Excellence in Journalism, the Joan Shorenstein Barone Award for Outsanding Journalism and the Dirksen Award for Distinguished Reporting on Congress.
