Spenard Builders Supply, LLC Alaska Credit Department is looking for a candidate with legal skills and experience. This position is responsible for completing activities within the Credit Collections department across assigned locations, including implementation of company's policies and procedures related to credit and collection activities; handling the collection of delinquent accounts and investigating the credit risks of customers and suppliers. Some travel (5%) to customer site required. Candidate should have working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and business mathematics; excellent verbal and written communication skills; be able to use skill and tact when dealing with staff, management and vendors; and be proficient in the use of accounting software package as well as Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program. A minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and at least two (2) years credit collections experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
