The Professional Clothes Closet is a place where UAA students and alumni can select gently used, professional attire (FREE of charge) for interviews, internships, and as a start to building their own professional attire closet. All clothing is donated by UAA staff and faculty. Open by Appointment only. Anchorage: UAA Justice Center, part-time Research Aides

Justice Center faculty Brad Myrstol, Ron Everett, and Deb Periman will be conducting a general population survey entitled Citizens' Experiences and Perceptions of the Police and Courts. The study will begin immediately. Final preparations will be in place by 4/27/2013. They are planning to hire 4-6 research aides to assist them on a temporary basis with survey administration and data entry. Anchorage: UAA CHD, part-time Research Technician I

The UAA Center for Human Development (CHD) is looking for a part-time (6-10 hours per week) female research technician to conduct phone interviews. Although the posting says the position ends on 6/30/13, this CHD position is available on an ongoing basis. This person could also be the "relief" interviewer for when other staff is on vacation or sick. A female is required because of the content of the survey. Kenai: CSI Camp Counselors

Challenger Learning Center of Alaska is seeking an enthusiastic individual to serve as a Jr CSI Camp Counselor for grades 4-6 (June 17-21) and a CSI Camp Counselor for grades 7-11 (July 15-19) from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm daily. Camp will be capped at 25 campers. Training will be provided. The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions is recruiting for full-time positions as an Adult Probation Officer I/II at the Goose Creek Correctional Center located at Point Mackenzie near Wasilla, Alaska. Adult Probation Officers are responsible for supervising a caseload of adult felony and misdemeanor offenders who are under the jurisdiction of the Superior court or District Courts of Alaska and have been remanded to the custody and care of the Department of Corrections.
