Clubs & Conversation Tables

Language Tables (fall and spring semesters only):

  • La Table Française, French Conversation Table:
    Fridays, 4–6pm at the Kaladi Brothers on Brayton Drive (off of Seward Hwy).
    Coordinator: Dr. Sudarsan Rangarajan

  • German Kaffeeklatsch:
    Fridays, 3:30–5:30pm at Cafe Europa (563-5704) on 36th Avenue just east of Arctic.  Coordinator: Dr. Natasa Masanovic (786-4032)

  • Japanese Conversation Table:
    Every Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in ADM 283.

  • Russian Conversation Table:
    The first and second Wednesday of each month, at 2:00 in ADM 283. 
    Coordinator: Olga Livshin

  • German Culture Club: The club has meetings and events every other week.  Planning meetings for these events are held at the weekly Kaffeeklatsch, Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Cafe Europa on 36th Avenue just east of Arctic.  Coordinator: Dr. Natasa Masanovic

  • Nihon Bunka Club (Japanese Culture Club):

  • La Tertulia (Spanish Club): 
    Thursdays, 8–9pm, at UAA Starbucks in the Consortium Library.
