Language Tables (fall and spring semesters only):

  • La Table Française, French Conversation Table:
    Fridays, 4–6pm at the Kaladi Brothers on Brayton Drive (off of Seward Hwy).
    Coordinator: Dr. Sudarsan Rangarajan

  • German Kaffeeklatsch:
    Fridays, 3:30–5:30pm at Cafe Europa (563-5704) on 36th Avenue just east of Arctic.  Coordinator: Dr. Natasa Masanovic (786-4032)

  • Russian Conversation Table:
    Friday, 1:30-3:00 p.m.: February 8, ADM 141; March 8, ADM 142; April 12, ADM 141.
    Thursday, 4:00-5:30 p.m.: February 21, March 28, April 25, all at the library Kaladi Brothers.
    Coordinator: Dr. Amanda Murphy

Language Clubs (fall and spring semesters only):

  • ASL (American Sign Language) Club: 
    First and second Sundays of each month at 2:00 p.m., in the upstairs lounge in the Student Union.

  • German Culture Club: The club has meetings and events every other week.  Planning meetings for these events are held at the weekly Kaffeeklatsch, Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Cafe Europa on 36th Avenue just east of Arctic.  Coordinator: Dr. Natasa Masanovic.

  • Nihon Bunka Club (Japanese Culture Club):

  • La Tertulia (Spanish Club): 
    Thursdays, 7:00–8:00pm, at UAA Kaladi Brothers in the Consortium Library.
