Language Tables:

• The French Table: Every Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kaladi Brothers on Brayton Drive off of the Seward Hwy. Coordinator: Dr. Sudarsan Rangarajan
• German Kaffeeklatsch:every Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Cafe Europa on 36th Avenue just east of Arctic.  Coordinator: Dr. Natasa Masanovic
• Japanese Conversation Table: Every Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in ADM 283. Coordinator: The Rev. Koun Franz
  
• Ohanashikai (Let's Speak Japanese!): The third Saturday of each month, the Languages Department and the Japanese Association of Anchorage co-sponsor an informal discussion group from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. in SMH 104.  Speakers at all levels are welcome. 
  
• Russian Conversation Table: The time for the Russian conversation table will be determined in the fall. 

Language Clubs:

• ASL (American Sign Language) Club: Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble Cafe.
  
• German Culture Club: The club has meetings and events every other week.  Planning meetings for these events are held at the weekly Kaffeeklatsch, Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Cafe Europa on 36th Avenue just east of Arctic.  Coordinator: Dr. Natasa Masanovic
• Nihon Bunka Club (The Japanese Culture Club): The 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in ADM 141.  Coordinator: the Rev. Koun Franz
• Le Tertulia (The Spanish club): Every Thursday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Starbucks coffeeshop in the Consortium Library building.  Coordinator: Dr. Patricia Fagan
• Xleb da sol (Russian Club): Please contact club president Candace Blas, 250-0880, for meeting times.
