Military Programs is committed to helping students successfully navigate the university’s academic environment. All students must meet with an academic advisor prior to beginning any program of study.
Students are encouraged to meet each semester for the purpose of reviewing their academic progress and planning future courses. The academic advisor will be able to assist students in the appropriate course sequence.
It is particularly important for students to meet with their advisor whenever academic difficulties arise.
Students should schedule an appointment with Cheryl Smith, professor and academic counselor, via phone at 907.753.0204 or email.
Program student learning outcomes describe the knowledge, abilities, values, and/or attitudes students should be able to demonstrate following successful completion of a UAA certificate or degree program. Peruse the UAA Catalog to learn more about our programs.
Military personnel and dependents pay resident tuition. Financial aid opportunities are available.
