Men and Women of Excellence Ceremony
AHAINA hosts the Men and Women of Excellence Ceremony every academic year to acknowledge rising juniors who have maintained a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher and have demonstrated an ability to balance academic, social, and volunteer efforts.
Fall and Spring Dedication Ceremony
AHAINA hosts the Graduation Dedication Ceremony at the conclusion of the Fall and Spring semesters each academic year. We provide students an opportunity to have a personalized graduation recognition that includes their family and friends, and our own special Rose Dedication is where students can honor those individuals who influenced their success.
Cultural Clubs and Celebrations
We encourage students to create and join cultural/social clubs that offer exposure to the various cultures represented on the UAA and support cultural events and activities that acknowledge the diverse ethnic population at the UAA.
Workshops and Guest Speakers
The Multicultural Center frequently holds workshops in order to help our students to fully develop them into professionals and well-rounded people. We also invite inspirational people who have battle adversity to come and talk to our students in order to broaden their horizons and connect them to larger issues in the world.
Other UAA Events
The Multicultural Center often attends events hosted at UAA to show support for a cause or another program. As we host a lot of events ourselves the Multicultural Center stays up to date on UAA campus activities and often participates in them. If you would like to know more about on campus events here at UAA you can always ask us.
