Event: John Ken Nuzzo Voice Recital

John Nuzzo, the Japanese-American tenor, veteran performer with the Metropolitan Opera under James Levine, and the Vienna State Opera, who thrilled Anchorage Opera audiences last year, will be returning to perform in Anchorage Opera's Boheme, AND...in recital at UAA with pianist Timothy Smith!  Don't miss this opportunity to see this phenomenal artist up close and personal...at the UAA Arts Building Recital Hall, one night only...Saturday, January 29 at 7:30 PM.  This concert was originally performed by this duo with great success in Nagoya, Japan last August.  On the program:  Works by Handel, Schubert (selections from Die Schöne Müllerin); Three Chinese Love Lyrics (John Duke); songs by Duparc, and traditional Japanese folk songs. 

Ticket availability:  As of 3PM today there were STILL SOME TICKETS AVAILABLE for walkup customers (not through Centertix) at the UAA box office.  The box office will open tonight, Saturday, January 29, at 6PM.
