2008 AkNOS Statewide Competition Registration Form

Alaska Native Oratory Society
Statewide Competition

Registration

Saturday April 12, 2008

There are two registration deadlines for the Alaska Native Oratory Society Statewide Competition. The earlier deadline for the Native Language category makes it possible to find judges for that category who are speakers of the the Native Language.

1. **Native Language Category deadline: Monday April 7, 2008 at 5pm.
2. Oratory, Declamation, Storytelling & Traditional Introductions deadline: Thursday April 10, 2008 at 5pm.

Note: For education and promotional purposes, the Alaska Native Oratory Society may record and publish speeches. Your registration indicates release for such recordings.

Phone:  (907)786-6136 or (907) 786-6148

**Although we work very hard to have qualified speakers of each Native Language represented in this category as judges, that is not always possible, particularly in cases of late registration. Please keep in mind all our judges volunteer their time to support the students in this competition.

Please give us your Native name if you have one. We will include this in the program.
