UAA groups give students a traditional welcome

Residence Life and other university programs will welcome students to campus on Friday, Sept. 2, with a potluck, performances by traditional dance groups from around the state, and a fun and inspirational speaker, Earl Polk.

All students are welcome to attend Friday afternoon in the UAA Commons.

Here is the schedule for this event:

  • 2:00pm Kingikmiut Native Dance Group
  • 3:00pm Earl Polk, inspirational speaker
  • 4:00pm Potluck
  • 4:30pm High School Dance Group
  • 5:30pm Southcentral Foundation Headstart Dance Group
  • 6:00pm Tsimshian Dance Group
