International Honor Society Announces ACE Award Winners By: Donna Gail Shaw Nov 18, 2005 Indianapolis, IN – The Rho Zeta Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, at the University of Alaska Anchorage received an Achieving Chapter Excellence (ACE) Award at the Society’s recent International Convocation in Orlando, FL, November3–5, 2005.
The ACE Awards program began in 1995 and recognizes chapters of the organization whose programming and service to students are exemplary and support the Society’s mission and strategic goals. Only 5% of the more than 600 Kappa Delta Pi chapters earned this award.
Founded in 1911, Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, is a dynamic learning community that recognizes and enhances growth in scholars and leaders.
