Leslie Tuovinen, UAA International Student Advisor, was elected to the National Association of Foreign Student Advisers Leadership Development Committee. She will serve as Regional Specialist for NAFSA Association of International Educators. As Regional Specialist, Lesile will work with all regions served by NAFSA.

Disability Support Services Director, Kaela Parks, was appointed a leadership position within the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). As Chair of the Disability Concerns Knowledge Community for Region V she will coordinate efforts within the region's seven states and two Canadian Provinces to promote equal opportunity in education.
