Nursing Workforce Diversity Program (NWDP) is designed to address the lack of diversity in Alaska's nursing workforce. The Nursing Workforce Diversity Program (NWDP) seeks to provide assistance and support to ethnic minority nursing students as well as economically and educationally disadvantaged nursing students of any ethnic background. The program goals are to see the number of ethnic minorities in the nursing workforce grow to match that of Alaska's diverse population and to increase the opportunities for educationally and economically disadvantaged students.
