Project Overview:
UAA Institutional Research has developed and implemented a new capability that tracks the progress of all students for 10 years from the year they enter UAA. It was developed in response to deficiencies in traditional definitions and measures of “success,” that fail to address the majority of our students. It will be used to provide an institution-wide, long-term map of student flow and progress, and to assess the effectiveness of student success strategies.
Purpose:
To track student progress toward the broad range of goals that is consistent with our comprehensive, open access mission. The project also helps in assessing the effectiveness of student success initiatives. This strategy is a superset of traditional “success” tracking.
