Orientation Leader - Summer 2009:

Our goal is to provide a friendly face to new students, facilitate success in and out of the classroom, promote positive Seawolf Spirit, and build a firm foundation of excellence by introducing them to all that UAA has to offer.

Sean Egan

Sean is a Senior studying Chemistry. He enjoys hanging out with friends, doing research, and traveling. Sean received two research grants this year and hopes that the data he obtains will help him enter a good graduate program.

Katie Galligan

Katie is a Junior studying Culinary Arts/Hospitality and Restaurant Management with a Minor in Nutrition. Katie has received the President Service award three times. In her free time she enjoys baking, hanging out with her Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority sisters, volunteering, and spending time with her family.

Jing Liu

Jing is a Senior majoring in Nursing and has a minor in Nutrition. She has been an Orientation Leader since Summer 08. Jing enjoys hiking, cooking/baking and reading. She loves Alaska Summers and hanging out with friends and family.

Brittany Mahoney

Brittany is a sophomore studying Elementary Education. In her free time, Brittany likes to play volleyball, reading, watch football, walk her dog, and enjoy a pedicure. Fun Fact: Brittany is ambidextrous!

Jennifer Money

Jennifer is a Sophomore double majoring in both English and History. She enjoys long walks, community services/volunteering, meeting new people, writing, and being comedic. Jennifer loves guacamole, camping and being outside. She also enjoys going to sporting events like hockey, baseball and basketball.

Nick Morrill

Nick is a Senior double majoring Management and Economics. In his free time, Nick enjoys playing piano, camping, hiking, biking, rock climbing, and anything outdoors. Nick also enjoys playing competitive sports, especially football and ultimate Frisbee. Additionally, he loves to just hang out with friends and family.

Demietrius Preston

Demietrius is a Junior studying Journalism and Public Communications. In his free time, Demietrius likes to play basketball and listen to music. He also enjoys writing, reading, and drawing. Demietrius is a member of the UAA track and field team.

Stephanie Schuman

Stephanie is a Sophomore. She loves Alpha Sigma Alpha! Stephanie works for Student Activities and she is involved with the Greek Council and the Campus Programming Board. In her free time, Stephanie likes to nap, eat, and read.
