UAA Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science major Anastasia Mironova was awarded a Discovery Grant to help cover a portion of the expenses related to traveling to the 2003 IEEE Visualization Conference to present her research project “Collaborative Volume Visualization Using VTK.” Mironova was honored with the “Best Poster Award” at this conference. Congratulations are also extended to Dr. Hilary Davies.
UAA Mathematical Sciences major Brian Mullen was awarded a Discovery Grant to help fund a portion of his expenses related to his travel to the 2003 IEEE Visualization Conference to present his research project “Streaming Media within the Collaborative Scientific Visualization Environment.” Congratulations are also extended to Dr. Hilary Davies and Dr. Patrick O’Leary.
