UAA has 2 parking. The Main Garage is located between the Social Sciences Building and the Science Building. It is a three-level garage featuring 297 parking spaces, seven of which are reserved for handicap parking. This garage is considered premium parking and the bottom 2 levels are reserved for those holding platinum permits. For each semester, 300 Platinum Permits are sold.
The East Parking Garage is located between the Integrated Science Building and the Admin Building. It is a thee tiered garage featuring 447 spaces. 9 of which are reserved for handicap parking. This Garage is available for parking with a Pay n Park permit, a Yellow permit, a Platinum permit, or a Green permit after 4PM.
Both Parking garages are equipped with a Pay and Park machine for visitor Parking. It will accept US cash ($1 and $5 bills), US coin, VISA and MasterCard as payment at a rate of $2.00 per hour or $10 per day. The Pay n Park machine is located on the first floor of the East Garage, and the third floor of the Main Garage.
RATES
- Platinum Permits are $180 per semester for Fall and Spring, and $50 for the entire Summer. This permit entitles the user to park in the garage as well as any of the surface lots on campus (numbered permit must be displayed at all times).
- Hourly Rate - $2.00 per hour
- Daily Rate - $10 per day
Pay N Park users may park on the third level of the Main garage and above, the bottom two levels of the garage, including the up/down ramps to/from the third level are reserved exclusively for platinum holders.
Holders of yellow and green permits may park on the roof (the uncovered area) of the garage at no extra charge, please note all signage for areas that are reserved for platinum permit holders only.
Platinum Permits are sold at the beginning of each semester on a first come, first served basis. Garage permits will be available for the Spring Semester starting in December on-line or at the Parking Services office.
Note: Parking Services is now located in the basement of the Bookstore. Please enter the Bookstore and proceed to the elevator area for access to the basement.
