Visitors can park using the "Pay N Park" machines (located in various lots), or metered spaces. Day and 2 Hour Scratch Off passes are also available from the Parking Services Office, the Bookstore or the Library Circulation Desk.

For those who will be purchasing Fall Platinum (Garage) Permits, you now can purchase them on-line at “www.thepermitstore.com” starting July 6. They are sold on a first come, first served basis.
For students purchasing a permit from their student account, be sure to add the permit to your Banner account, then choose “student account” for type of payment when ordering your permit from “www.thepermitstore.com”. This does not charge your account twice for the purchase.
Faculty and staff purchasing with payroll deduction, please submit the original Payroll Deduction Form to insure that your permit is issued. The form can be printed off from the Parking Services website in the Quick Link section: http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/parking/upload/UAA_Parking_Permit.pdf
Adjunct faculty may order a Green or Yellow permit on-line, and fax a copy of their appointment letter to Parking Services 786-6099. The permit cannot be issued until the letter is received.
Fall Yellow and Fall Green can also be purchased on-line beginning July 6, or at the Parking Services Office beginning July 6th.
Parking at the University of Alaska Anchorage is managed as a limited resource with the interests and needs of many constituencies in mind.
Permits are required to park on the University of Alaska Anchorage Goose Lake campus during the Fall and Spring semesters from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
All parking regulations, unless otherwise posted, are monitored at all times by our office and/or the University Police Department.
Regulations are applicable to all members of the University Community. Vehicle operators parked on the University campus are responsible for reading and abiding by the Parking Policies & Procedures.
Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and the responsibility for finding a legal parking space rests with the vehicle operator.
The vehicle operator is responsible for reading and abiding by all posted signs and/or other parking control devices.
The owner-of-record or the individual registering a vehicle with the University is responsible for all parking citations written against that vehicle regardless of the identity of the driver at the time of the violation.
