Community Campus Delegation 701: Auxiliary ServicesPurpose To specify the community campus delegation authority and responsibility for auxiliary services. References Board of Regents Policy 05.15.00 Definitions Auxiliary Service Enterprises: Separately organized university units specifically established to sell goods or services on a continuing basis to individuals—students, faculty, staff, alumni and other members of the university community. Auxiliary units are operated primarily for the convenience and necessity of students and the campus community. These units may sell to UAA departments if the revenues generated represent an immaterial percentage of total revenues. PolicyDelegation AuthorityBookstore Operation The Directors/President are delegated the authority and responsibility for the local management and financial performance of bookstore auxiliaries in conformance with the referenced policies and regulations. Housing Operation The Directors/President are delegated the authority and responsibility for the local management and financial performance of housing auxiliaries in conformance with the referenced policies and regulations. The establishment of a new housing auxiliary operation requires the approval of the Vice President for Finance.
