Purpose

To specify the community campus delegation authority and responsibilities for faculty related personnel actions.

Policy

Delegation Authority
The Provost has approval authority on matters of faculty appointment, review, promotion, tenure and sabbaticals.

Delegation Criteria
The Directors/President are responsible for submitting matters of faculty appointment, review, promotion, tenure and sabbaticals to the Provost for approval.

Applicability
All community campuses have the limited authority for faculty appointments, etc. expressed in this policy.
