The local Anchorage area airport is about 4 miles from the conference venue, approximately a 10 minute drive.

September in Anchorage is beautiful with all the trees displaying their fall colors and pleasant because the cold weather of winter has not yet arrived.  Average high temperatures in September are in the upper 50's (Fahrenheit) and low's in the 40's (Fahrenheit).  Rainy days are not frequent, but possible, so pack accordingly.
