Application for Graduation

Program Completion
UAA issues diplomas three times a year: in January/February following the fall semester, in May/June following the spring semester, and in September following the summer session. To be eligible for graduation at the end of a given semester, a student must:undefined

  • Be formally admitted to the degree or certificate program during the previous semester.

    If you have not yet applied to be admitted into your degree program, instructions can be found at
    http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/admissions/index.cfm

  • Submit an Application for Graduation signed by the academic advisor and accompanied by the required fee to Enrollment Services.
     


      Application for Graduation Deadlines

  • Summer 2009 Graduation – March 2
  • Fall 2009 Graduation – May 1
  • Spring 2010 Graduation – September 15

    Late Application Policies

An application for graduation must be filled out by every student who wishes to graduate from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Even if your College or School has its own special graduation ceremony, you must fill out a University application for graduation. Select one of the available formats:

  • On-line application
    This option requires your UAA username (not your UA ID number) and your UAA password (the password used for UAA e-mail, Blackboard, and UAA Active Directory):
  • Printable form in PDF format
  • Paper form from One Stop Student Services, in the University Center, located at 3901 Old Seward Hwy., Anchorage, Alaska.
