Centers and institutes at the University of Alaska Anchorage are devoted to special concerns and opportunities associated with northern populations. The State’s vast resources, and challenges unique to Alaska, are central to their sponsored programs and research. They address concerns of Anchorage and Alaskan communities as well as those related to national and international interests.
