IPY Website

A website has been created by University Advancement to offer up-to-the-minute coverage of the International Polar Year news and events.  Some of the contents so far include:

• IPY articles from the recent Research News
• Reception for IPY postdoctoral research fellows
• IPY research at ISER, Survey of Living Conditions in the Arctic (SLiCA)
• UAA students receive IPY research awards
• Two IPY awards for Dr. Jeff Welker, ENRI Director and Professor of Biology 
• Virtual Bird Tour through the Aleutian Islands (Podcast)
