The UAA ornithology collection in the  Department of Biological Sciences was established in 2004.  The collection is currently under the direction of Dr. Douglas Causey.  Here is the UAA Avian Collection website.

The purpose of the collection is education, research and preservation of the record of avian biodiversity and environmental conditions through time.
