INNOVATE Awards A new chapter is developing at UAA with the recent announcement of UAA's
Innovate Awards. Dr. Helena Wisniewski, Vice Provost for Research and
Graduate Studies, secured a $200,000 commitment this year to support a
competitively-awarded research and entrepreneurship program for UAA's
faculty, which is designed to foster new ideas and encourage the
expansion of research. Other Funding Opportunities Funding sources, including the Faculty Development Grant, Research Travel Grants, Natural Resources Fund and PBAC (Planning and Budget Advisory Council), are managed through the Provost's Office and the Chancellor's Office.
