Alaska Native & Rural Outreach Program (ANROP) Coordinator
I am Karla Booth, the ANROP Coordinator for the Department of Residence Life. I am Tsimshian of the Raven Clan and my family is from the communities of Metlakatla and Kake, Alaska. I oversee the operation of the Cama-i Room. I work with Alaska Native, American Indian and rural students, serving as a mentor, advocate, transition liaison, personal and academic success ally, resource provider, referral source, and educator. As a liaison, I build relationships with businesses, corporations, organizations, and community members encompassing the Alaska Native and American Indian communities in Anchorage.
