Residence Life, in partnership with Books of the Year, is raising funds for four local organizations: the Alaska Humane Society, Special Olympics Alaska, ARC of Anchorage, and The Mother Lawrence Foundation. Students living in the residence halls and Main Apartment Complex will compete by collecting coins through November 30.

The residential area with the most "points" will win a pizza party, and all the donations collected will be given to their area's community organization. The winning residential area will be announced on December 7.

How does your area EARN points?

• Donate silver coins and gold dollar coins to your community jug (available when hall desks are staffed and occasional tables in the Commons)
• Visit the North Hall front desk for the MAC jug!
• Quarter: +25 points
• Dime: +10 points
• Nickel: +5 points
• Gold Dollar Coins: +100 points

How does your area TAKE points?

• Donate pennies and paper bills to other community jugs!
• Penny: -1 point
• Dollar bill: -100 points
• All other paper bills: Minus their dollar value (ex. $5 bill: -5 points)

Only U.S. Currency Accepted

Once money is deposited, it cannot be removed!
